No one likes to feel like they’re following the crowd, it’s always better to be the one leading the way. But, in the design field you must be aware of what’s going on. That’s why we made it easier for you and highlighted 5 essential design trends you should know and use in your logo designs. So check out the awesome logos we made in our platform based on this design trends!
1) The new Retro Style
The old is still new! This style began appearing a few years back but picked up in 2015 and will definitely continue to shine. It’s a fresh take on a traditional style, which can always be a great way to combine things you already know and turn them into something no one else has seen.
2) Flat and Geometric Shapes
Flat designs will continue to dominate and not because they look clean and forthright, but because they register well in any browsing device, especially due to SVG. They load a lot faster too. Patterns, textures, shadows, gradients will give way to simpler lines and colours.
3) Negative Space
Less is more! Using negative space in design helps establish balance and sets harmony between your elements, which is specially helpful in logos that use multiple shapes and type.
4) Monolines
Monolines get their name due to the single thin lines that comprise their designs. This line is typically the same thickness throughout the logo, and the logo is most often one solid color. The digital era is in full swing, but many still love the look and appeal of hand-drawn fonts and logos.
5) Bright, Bold Colors
With a hard use of smaller devices, such as tablets and smartphones, it’s become essential to make sure your design can be seen. One of the ways is going bold. The second is definitely going vibrant with colors.
What do you think of the trends? Now it’s time for you to put it in practice! 😉
